Admin Question by leedoglaw: Doe anyone know places to go in Southwestern Maine?
I am going to be spending a week in Rangeley, Maine in June. I already have a place to stay but I was wondering if there were any restaurants or attractions that might be worth checking out. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank you for your answers so far. This is definitely a mellow vacation so pretty places to check out and things like rugby matches are exactly what we are looking for.

That is really mid Maine. Farmington is hosting a rugby match the first weekend in June.

Rangely is actually pretty far up in Maine. Moosehead Lake is pretty cool. It’s rural up there, I hope you’re not expecting wild nightlife or anything. It’s beautiful and it’ll be relaxing, it’s just not what you’d consider a bustling metropolis. Have fun.
