Rangeley Lake State Park can be reached from Rumford via Route 17 or from Farmington via Route 4. Rangeley Lake is famous for brook trout and landlocked salmon fishing.

Baxter State Park, or around The Forks, Maine. I’ve been there and seen many moose. Also, the road that takes you from Maine over towards Quebec is pretty good, route 202.

I’m not as sure about Jeep trails as atv trails, Maine has millions of trails throughout the state, just about on the side of the road anywhere you should find one!
